Xanthi is preparing to host one of the most important athletic competitions in the region, the 11th Democritus Half Marathon, which will take place on November 30, 2025. Registration for the event has already opened and all runners are invited to participate and live the experience of participating in this special event.
Participants will have the opportunity to choose between two routes:
Half Marathon (21.1 km)
City Route (5 km)
The start will be at 10:30 a.m. and the city of Xanthi promises to offer unique experiences to participants, overlooking the magnificent landscapes and atmosphere of the place.
